Question Can someone post these pics?

I need to see preferably straight on rear shots of a stock 04-06 Aspec rear TL, a stock 07-08 Type s and then an 08 Type S with the rear Aspec Lip. On halloween weekend, i went to bed like usual, woke up the next morning, went out side and noticed something different about my car... someone ripped my Aspec rear lip off of my 2004 TL!!! they fucked up my stock bumper so bad, scratches and paint missing everywhere, their was debri on the ground,, you can't imagine how angry and upset i was. On top of that whoever it was took my driver side rear exhaust trim from the STOCk bumper as well! My car looks like a mess in the back. I requested the pics above because i'm not sure if i wanna go with another stock 04 bumper with an 04 Apec lip again,, i want to see what the differences are between all the backs and decide which looks best to me,,, thanks in advance,, i hope someone has these pics

i was leaning more towards the new style, should i go just stock type s in the back or add the oem lip kit to it on the back as well? If i add the lip kit in the back for s type bumper, they're gonna have to strip off the color on the rear lip and paint it to match my abyss blue pearl my other option would be to get a ron jon rear bumper cover... anyone in favor of that style?

Hmmm. Aside from the chips, it looks like most of the top part can be buffed out. It doesn't look that bad. You can also just get another exhaust trim piece.

no way that can be buffed out........those are some deep scratches and in some places it looks like the paint is missing.

If you need exuast trims, I'm selling mine from when I put my a-spec...shoot me a PM if you want them.

where the hell are the holes for the a-spec KIT???? You will need to have the bumper repainted and a new kit put on. BTW, aren't those exhaust finishers supposed to come off when you install aspec?

What he said.. you're supposed to take the exhaust inserts out when you install the kit.

And... just another reason to drill the bumper when putting it on. Does anyone really have the belief that someday they might take it off?

I think re-aspec it, and those scratches on the topside edge of the bumper look like they would buff out pretty well.

buff won't do it, look at the third pic, its way to deep to be fixed via buffing.

Guys, I'm not understanding what I'm seeing. Are you saying that he had an a-spec rear and someone ripped it off? If so, I don't see how it it was mounted. Someone did a number on him though. If it was glued on, wouldn't there be residue from the adhesive?

when we got the car , i didn't want to drill holes into the stock bumper that weren't already their to hold the aspec on, incase someday i decided to take the kit off for whatever reason. i used the pre exsisting screws/bolts that hold the stock bumper on and attached it from their. Reinforced it with my own 3m tape in the center, i should have gotton underneath and took pics to show where the lip is ripped from the mounting points,, i cleaned off the residue tape that you guys aren't seeing now,, it was all their, and a bitch to scrape off.

the top "scratch" cannot be buffed out, what your seeing is the bumper like someone took a cheese grater and tryed to shred it.

should i go type s bumper? or type s with aspec? can someone show me pics of the difference?

Ah I get it now. Do you have an a-spec front? If so, I would get the rear to match.

Hmm, but how were you able to fit the lip on w/ the stock exhaust trims still in place? I'd give you my trims but I think I threw them in the trash a few months ago I'd say go w/ the the Type S bumper and lip only if you plan on adding quad tips or exhaust, otherwise get the new style bumper regardless, the lip from the 04-06 should also work on the base 07-08 bumper. On a side note, I have a rear 04-06 A-spec lip for sale. It's NBP but I could sell it to ya cheap if your interested.

I guess i'm the first to do it then,, the aspec rear will fit right over the stock exhaust trims,, i honestly didn't know you had to take them off first lol

Is the only difference between the 04-06 and 07-08 base bumpers the part at the bottom of the bumper, between the exhaust, diffuser i guess it is? If that's the case, then i should just get a base 04 because the aspec will be covering that piece anyways? That is if i go that route,, i am still leaning towards the type s bumper with lip.

Thanks for the offer on the aspec lip, i'll keep it in mind.
