Can side marker lights be cleared?

The side marker lights on the front fenders...can they be cleared? Is it the lense that is orange or is the bulb orange? PITA to do?

What else have you guys done to the side markers...clear, tint, paint, etc?

You have to change the color of the LED's (front)

(Obviously the rears have a red lense...)

Wow that LED swap looks like a real PITA!
I guess I'll just get the front ones painted white to match the car. The rear side markers don't bother me so those can stay red

If by some chance you live in SoCal, I have a mini meet scheduled for the 25th to Clear out some peoples Lights. Its posted in the OFF TOPIC - Meets and Greets area.

If you want to blow the money on a spare set of front Side Markers, I would also be willing to do the mod for you for a very small fee and then ship them back. Then all you would have to do is swap them out. But beware the Side Markers run like $50 each from the main places I have seen for OEM Parts.

I went with JDM (Japanese doemstic market) sides on my S2000 - they are clear with an amber bulb. Are TL's sent to the Japanese market? If so, I betcha clear ones can be obtained, that can easily be swapped back if an inspector or cop gives you a hassle for "Non-DOT" approved lighting.

The clears on the S2000 look sweet.
