Can brake/gas pedal tension be adjusted?

I find that my TL's brake and gas pedals are a lot stiffer than the TSX I used to drive. As the result, I develop some significant discomfort in the underside of my right thigh and perineum after driving in rush-hour city traffic for a while.

Does anybody know whether the tension of these pedals can be loosened a bit so that they are applied more easily?

Thanks a lot!

Probably a dealership question.. The TL has no throttle cable so there's no adjustment there; you might be able to change the spring tension for the gas pedal.. The brake pedal i'm not sure about as it uses brake pedal force to determine whether or not you are panic braking.. Changing it could cause problems..
