Can anyone give me advice on a used 04' TL purchase?

Hi everyone. Just need to know if this is a good deal or not. I'm about to purchase a used 2004 TL, since my 1999 was totaled out by my insurance.

Pros

2004 NBP TL with ebony (love this combination)
Navigation
A-spec kit with wing
55K miles
Very good condition.

Cons

Not an Acura Certified used car (where would you recommend to purchase an extended warranty?)
A little curb rash on 2 wheels.

I've talked the dealer down from $27,955 to $23,400.

So for $23,400 + TTL. Is this a good enough deal?

Thanks in advance everyone!

get it certified. I believe this comes with a 100k+ mile warranty.

If you're buying it from a dealer, they can usually certify it for you for a little extra money if you ask. If they say they can't certify it, that would send a red flag in my mind about the car.

It looks nice though. Good luck.

Get a CarFax report to verify that it has not been in an accident.

Cool

Thanks for the replies.

Carfax states this is a one owner lease return.

I'm purchasing this from a Nissan Dealer, so they can't certify the vehicle. From my understanding, only an Acura Dealership can. Can i do this or extend the warranty from any acura dealership? If anyone has done this, please share.

I forgot to mention, it's just the a-spec front, side, and rear kit. Does not come with A-spec suspension or wheels.

Certified = 100K miles warranty on the powertrain, non-powertrain equipment coverage is 5 yr/62K miles.

So....is the price good?

assuming everything checks out sounds like a fair price.

Some 04s had a tranny recall see if that had it but then again its vin range might not apply.

i found an 05 with 13k miles for 23k in virginia, but other than that good deal that seems average, do you REALLY need the warranty? i could care less about it, but then again ive had good luck, and i wouldnt buy anything with over 30k miles on it.

Just to be sure, you've found the exact same model (Navi, A-spec kit, no accidents) but an 05" with 13K miles for $23K. I would be all over that. Is that still available by any chance?

Is this the vehicle by any chance? 2005 TL with 13K miles

Just did a carfax on that vin. Results

I ran a carfax on a few of the vehicles listed by that seller. It seems everyone has a recondition title.
