hey guys... do you think itz possible to reflash the tranny to allow for faster shifting and the blip of gas when down shifting?

If the only difference is software, it probably could be....if that's the only difference.

Finding a way to get it done is another matter. Acura can't just arbitrarily do flashes. The flash HAS to match the car. Otherwise, the car is no longer emissions compliant..even if it's just the tranny that gets flashed. The ECM software must match the calibration on the car or they can't even do the download.

Is there any aftermarket companies doing programming for these cars? That would be your best bet.

the engine might get messed up due to the tl-s having the 3.5 liter engine instead of the 3.2. Also i think that some hardware was changed too along with software.

The 2007 has a different tranny, it now has the RL tranny

not possible at the dealer, the HDS will only allow you to put in an update for a specific car. if its hooked up to an '06 TL only '06 TL updates are allowed.
