A/C - Return Duct Location?
I am going to do the Wurth Heating and A/C treatment to my HVAC system. The smell coming out of it is now to the point that I can't take it anymore. My eyes water when I get the smell.
This is the product I will be using. I hear that it is very good.

One bit of information I need before I do this however is, where is the return duct for the A/C when we use the Recirculate function?
If someone can point out this location for me, I would greatly appreciate it. I will report back how the Wurth's treatment went.
Thanks in advance!

Yeah, I know... I'm in the process of ordering one.
I'll get that done first and if that doesn't solve the problem, I'll go in with the Wurth.
Any idea where the return duct is?

Two things to do to help avoid this in the future.
Avoid using the recirculate option as much as possible.
Turn off your A/C (as in use outside, unrefrigerated air) about three to five minutes before parking your car for the evening and turn your fan to its highest setting. This will help to dry out the evaporator a bit which will condensation and therefore mildew to a minimum.

Also, check the drain to make sure it is draining.... if you do use A/C... I worked at a Mazda dealership many years ago and we had a lot of "mildew" smelling complaints... turned out the tube was clogged and water backed up and did indeed mildew... check it by parking with the car running, A/C on , in the same spot for 5 min or so, then move the car and hope to see a puddle.
