Bye fellow 3rd Gen'ers
Well after 3 1/2 years with the TL yesterday was its time to find another home. With buying a place this fall I needed to lower my debt, so I needed to get either a older cheap car or a lease. I went with the latter. A local bought her, and he is super excited about getting on Acurazine and checking out everything that can be done to her.........even though most of the things have already been done lol
Well last night I picked up a new 2009 Toyota Tacoma Access Cab Off Road TRD. Not to bad with the current promotion I paid $2500 down and my payments after tax are only $193/month
After everything I will still be swinging thru, I will probably be in the Off Topic section more. But I will definately stop by to check out the progress you guys are making.
Thanks for everthing over the past years, you guys are truely a wealth of knowledge

Nice truck and those payments are even better. Good luck and make sure you stop by.

Yeah I was suprised at what I got. It was a 3 year, 10k a year. I drive between 5-8k a year so it works out well.
For sure, made to many friends on here to just leave!
I know, there are quite a few leaving. I think its normal though given the fact that people with 04 ond 05's have had their cars 3-5 years now.
Yeah its a lease, so probably won't do anything major. Meatier tires once these run out and maybe a in dash navi system in a few months.

wtf lembowski!.. after all the sweat and love you put into that car you sold it.. damn.. how much did you owe on the TL ? (edit: nvm.. I saw in your 4sale ad - $17k)
Nice trade though.. Stay on top of the rear diff service for the Tacoma's & Tundra's. My Tundra is a joy to work on because there's so much space!

I was considering the Tacoma and the Frontier, all the reviews pointed towards the Tacoma. It didn't hurt that they were able to put me into a stellar deal.

That new 4.0L V6 is mean too.. my gf's brother has the almost the same truck (TRD V6 Double Cab) and he hauls ass.. it's no comparison to their new 5.7L V8 though..

Everything was on the car and sold as is. With my work schdule I didn't have time to do anything but clean the car prior to the sale......
Sorry guys nothing really to part out......a few things might make their way on to the bst, but its nothing performance wise.

GODZILLA & 3G TL
Toyo's are awesome trucks, I thoroughly enjoyed mine. I had a 2001 Tundra V8 before getting my '06 TL. You definitely built a sweet ride man. Good luck with the new ventures.

YOU FINALLY SOLD IT!! Damn, I'm extremely surprised it took that long, considering the car itself was worth like 9k after you deduct your mods and labor. What a lucky bas*ard whoever bought your car!
Congrats, and farewell! You should be proud of your 3g!
