Buying a US car in Canada without warranty?
Alright guys - as some of you may know, I am in the market to buy an '06 TL w/ navi.
So there's a 2006 TL w/ navi with about 26,000 miles selling for about $22K CND - its a wicked deal and its in top notch shape. Should I be worried about purchasing this car without having Acura Canada honor the warranty?
Please advise.
Thanks,

is the car already in canada and licensed there? What about ongoing import car tax or other hidden fees ---that would be the first hurdle.
Then- how far is it to drive it over here for the RECALLS- those are important, mandatory- acura pays for it- replacement parts--]
- the current ones are power steering hose can break and leak, and fluid gets on the exhaust- can you say- underhood fire???
and a wiper motor that dies.
Most of the other gen3 problems are transmission related or rattles.
Ask the local dealer about brake parts
If its still a usa car there a conversion to have daytime running lights....
Why is it a deal?

feels like you want to hurry up and score this `deal`
yet....
good things....
Last 06 someone bought on here --blew the clutch a month later with 12-15k miles on car!!! no coverage by acura- wear item!!!! and NOT a cheap or easy job---
