Buying a TL
Hi all...I'm interested in purchasing the new TL.. The car is awesome. Can anybody tell me what I should expect to pay for Navi and 6 spd? Are they discounting the cars? Several dealers have told me that the car with these option will not be discounted. Please help...

I just bought a non-nav 6spd and got around $2k of MSRP, but only could get around $500 off MSRP for the nav units (there were about 5 non-nav cars for every 1 nav unit on the lot).

Just signed deal, haven't taken delivery yet...March 15th is initial target date. Do not have pricing broken down but have agreed to pay $34,400, including accessory installation, for:
5 AT Navi DGP/Camel
Decklid spoiler
Moonroof visor
Gold emblems
Splash guards
All-weather mats
Wheel locks
Trunk tray
The car is being purchased in central NJ. This breaks down, I think, to $1755 under MSRP not including installation charges. Of course the mats/locks/tray are a fairly standard throwin, yet list at nearly $300 all together.
Do your homework inside out and remember...it's your money and they want it. You are in control until you let the other guy control you. Good luck.

Available discounts vary all over the country depending on supply and demand. The experience of a person in one part of the country doesn't apply to the other side of the country. You'll need responses from people in your area. There are some areas that are MSRP, and that's about it, and other areas where large discounts are available.

I'm in Manhattan. Been to all the dealers in the tri-state area. Right off the bat, FORGET Paragon and Manhattan. Since the gallery is temporarily out of commission, I'll send you a copy of the Acura's Northeast dealer customer service ratings list if you send / Private Message me your e-mail address.
A review by a forum member who took my advice:

You're in New York city, so you're very close to several NJ and PA dealers who are the heaviest discounters in the country. You can easily get $1,500 off and, if you spend some time, you can get as much as $2,000 off MSRP on NAVI car.
