So, just got a '05 TL Black/Camel Non-Navi.

I sometimes park on the street in manhattan and can't avoid people bumping into the car . I started looking into various bumper protectors, but the small stick on strips our ugly.

Is there anything else out there the you guys have used thats better. I see there is a clear adhesive film, does that work?

Any suggestions or recommendations welcomed.

I have seen people put all kinds of things on their bumpers to prevent damage from people that use the "touch" method to park. I'm afraid the best thing you can do for your car and get out of NY..

Short of that, the raised strips tend to work better since it helps prevent contact to the actual bumper cover. But it depends on where and how hard the bumper is hit. Film is only good for crap that gets kicked up while driving to avoid chipped paint. Sure it is better than nothing, but there is no silver bullet for this...

Do a search for clearbra. I had this on my FX35 and now my RL (I did not put it on my TL, and wish I had).
