Bridgestone Turanza LS-Z
After researching tires, I replaced the stock Bridgestones on my TL with another set of Bridgestones, the Turanza LS-Z.
I bought them at a local Firestone dealer. (The manager told me I was the second TL owner this month to switch tires at his store, and that person got the LS-Zs too.) The ride is now quieter and the handling is decidedly superior--and no more squealing wheels when I accelerate.
One of the reviews I read was at Tire Rack: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....l=Turanza+LS-Z

Someone else on this board complained that the LS-Z flat spotted and he used the Firestone 30 day money back to get the michelin pilot sport a/s. Did you get a trade on the el42's?

Yes, I got some money for the tires + discount off retail. Being in So Calif I don't image I'll have a problem with the flat spotting. I did the change for the handling issues.
