Bride seat question

I guess this is the right place to post. Anyways.

This kid is selling a bride for $60 so I can't pass it up. My OEM driver seat is destroyed.

It's non reclinable, and I'm going to order a bracket from wedgebrackets. Now my question is. Is the air bag connection underneath the seat connect to the seat or is it like separate and just hidden under the seat. The reason I ask is. If I put in this seat. Will I get srs and loose airbags? Or can I keep it connected! Help me out! Thanks!

with the bride seat you will loose the air bag feature.

I've always wondered if the car detects a part of the airbag system is disconnected, if the rest of it still functions as it should.

Once the SRS light is set, the whole system is disabled. Even if you reconnect the missing component, it still needs to be reset.

All you need to know about replacing seats is here:
