Just wanted to say Hi to everyone. Just got my very first Acura. If any one has any good advice for me I would like to hear it. It's an 05 TL with Auto and Deck Spoiler and black on black.

05 and 04 are almost the same and hopefuly it does not have some of the problem of 04.

many ppl complained 04 EL42 tire being bad and flat spotting.

many ppl complained 04's Headliner fell off (including myself)

However, Acura TL is a great car, you definately wanna get XM subscription and also a Blooth cell phone with it.

I just got a phone with bluetooth, but i havent had a chance to use it yet. That sucks about the headliner I hope mine doesnt have that problem. My 05 has the El42 I asked the salesman about it and he said the only problem is in the winter and they shake if they are cold but when they warm up it goes away, was that flim flam. Even if it did shake I dont know if I would notice my last car was an 03 Lightning

I didnt have to wait, I went in thier cause I wanted one since they came out, drove one of their demos and said i wanted a 05 black on black and the next thing i know I'm in the business office signing the paper work and driving away.

Ps I'm getting some tint soon and also its a non-navi, i'd get navi but i never travel with car just fly

all in all... 04/05 TL is a great car.... the audio system definately the best for stock and it also beats mean aftermark products as well... recently my bro change his sound system to alphine player + infinity speakers... and he admit that my sound system his better than his because the sound is much clean and crispy in my car.

get DVD-A... you will definately appreciate the 5.1 sound channel .... and it is hard going back to steoro..

also after 10k, change to synthetic engine oil... according to Road Rage recommandation, motorcraft synblen 5w-20 has the best performance and also cost ratio.

my personal advice is not go back to the dealership for maintenance except alignment (acura has not yet release align spec to anyone else), however, that just me and definately there is alot of ppl out there dont agree on this one. I just believe over charge way too much for what they do.
