It's like a $1500 part not including installation, do a search on the topic and you should get more info. Personally I'd just get a custom made big brake kit stoptech, rotora, or AEM for that much money. Probably go with stoptech, they make amazing brakes.

If you just want it to look black, then you can just paint the calipres with calipre paint for just under $10. However, if you want performance then whatever people said above.

half shafts and knuckles arent needed. you need the brackets calipers and rotors..... if you were doing a brake job anyway new rotors should be used anyway so really only the brakets and calipers would be the big expense.

find a used donor car, or shop around for different kits that give you what you want.... brembo, rotara, wilwood, baer. im sure all have options

The road test reviews I've read have shown shorter stopping distances for the 5AT brakes than for the Brembos. I believe the Brembos are probably better track brakes with more fade resistance but for a single panic stop I don't think you'll find any real benefit,

i think it was a typo that has lingered on. the brembos have a shorter stopping distance(not by much). but the purpose of brig brakes is to provide consistant stopping distances over extended braking and not so much reducing stopping distance.

always hate to admit when im wrong... especially when i think im right.... but in this particular case, the stock hubs are different. as different part# are given....

now what i would like to know what are the differences? i know that honda has different part #s for different oil filters even if the are the exact same filters (different manufacturing plants and location) so what are the differences in the manual to auto hubs anyone know?

also if you upgrade the brakes with a kit (brembo, stoptech, baer, wilwood, rotara or any others) im sure the kits are engineered around the current hubs so in that case the hubs would not need to be replaced

otherwise

yeah don't know the difference, but meh you neve know.

In any case, Comptech does have the Brembo BBK kit for the 5AT TL, it will only fit the 5AT TL (I checked) and it actually has slightly bigger rotors than the 6MT TL.
