Anybody know where I can get replacement front brake pads for my '04 w/the Brembo brake pkg? The dealer wants $250CAD just for the parts!!

Just curious, how many miles do you have on your car? I've got over 20k and I still have plenty of pad left. It's my understanding that no aftermarket brake pads are available for our car.

I currently have 18,000 kms (11,000 miles for you guys in the states) and the dealer said I had less than 50% left on the pads. Also the dealer wants $250CAD for another set of pads!!

and just wanna tell u, my girlfriend's vw needs $700CAD to replace break pads... so fucking expensive...

I went into dealership and told them that my Brebos are spueaking. There is a TSB 04-019 which says to resurface rotors and change pads. Get it changedunder warranty. I also heard this TSB was void later on. But give it a try and you might be lucky to get it replaced under warranty. I got it changed.

try Raybestos brand replacements (PepBoys, Autozone, not sure who exactly carries that brand).

i doubt you will be able to find raybestors pads for brembos.

glad i have the 5AT, i cannot find any online places that even list pads for 04' TL brembo.

ouch on your wallet when you need front pads...

I have 21k on my car and am changing the front pads this week.....no Brembos but wearing the brakes that fast is possible.

When I had my RL, I had to replace the pads with Acura. Any other pads squealed. Should I assume the same for the 3GTL? Has anyone tried "better" pads the Acura OEM?
