Congratulations!

I think you got a good deal. I paid 32K in 2006 with 1.9%. Your deal is especially good with the new model being as ugly as it is- seems like there might be a little spike in demand for the 08 models. While the looks of the 09 are polarizing and subjective, I have issues with the increased length/width of it which would make the new model even harder for me to garage and still make use of a workbench forward of the car.

Enjoy the ride!

That's a good deal for a TL .. congrats ... the main thing is you have to be happy with the car ... price sometimes is irrelevent IMHO ....

I just picked up a 08 TL-S for 33100.00 (before tax/etc.), so, that sounds about right. The important thing is, are you happy with the car

price is nice to think about now, you'll forget it after a few payments. Enjoy.

just curious, why not a TL-S?

Congrats. What color?

Price sounds pretty good before taxes, etc., and only about $300 extra after financing. But boy is that a high monthly car payment.

I think a TYPE-S is a good deal for that price. Base TL could have gotten a better deal. I was quoted 31k in VA last week.

Yes, his price was out-the-door, which, I'm assuming included Taxes/Reg/Etc. So, that's actually a very good deal.

Regardless, Congrats and Best of Luck with it, it's a great car.

I guess it's human nature

but it's too late! It no longer matters what kind of deal you got, it's the only deal you have! Don't worry another minute about what you paid, you have the car so enjoy it. And if you decide in 2 years you got a crap deal, sell the car and get on with a life.

Next time you want deal advice, ask BEFORE you sign the contract when you can still haggle. Unless you've found the only dealership in the world that allows customers to come back and re-negotiate deals.

Congrats on your new ride, I hope you enjoy it as much as we do ours. I paid 32.5 (not out the door) for my 08 base wi navi back in March so from my perspective you have a newer car at a cheaper price. You can't go wrong on that!

Maybe you could have gotten a better deal if ya could wait a couple more months, when the 09s comes, but that sounds like a great deal, imo. The cars worth every penny.

I was actually helping my brother in SoCA buy a TL-S yesterday (via telephone). He ran into an intresting issue. Some of the dealers in SoCA are hording type-S models since there will not be an '09 type-S. They don't want to blow them out the door for cheap anymore. One dealer had 7 type-S cars and wouldn't go below $35,500 plus TTL (no Pro pkg).

In the end, he was able to get an '08 SSM type-S auto with Pro Pkg (muds, trunk mat and wheel locks) and destination (excluding TTL) for $34,100...that plus the .9% financing.

That's a great price!

I bought the same thing, '08 w/Navi but not at your price and rate. So I think you got a great deal off of that car...

Well, considering I bought mine in early '08--besides, I couldn't wait!

Yep...$2500.00 rebate without the .9% financing or $1000.00 with the cheap financing. Deal ends 9/2, unless they decide to extend it.
