Both Front Tires Flat Need Help

Hi guys, i had a bad day today, and both of my front tires went flat. the problem is I only have one spare tire, I was just wondering if the base 2007 tl spare tire will fit on the 2007 tl -s ... the reason I am askin is because I could probably get my friends who has an 07 base tl ...

thanks in advance

I don't see any issues with it. A spare is a spare as long as the wheel size is the same.

08 TL-S, type-S bolt pattern 5 x 114.3
offset 45 mm
rims size 17 x 8

Looks like the same wheel size as the TL.

How did you manage to flatten both front tires?

there was a lot of glass in the parking garage that i drove into, or someone purposely did ... i dunno, but i was just wondering, because I know the front of the TL-s has the big acura brembo calipers that the base duznt, so was just trying to make sure it would clear the brembos

Look at your friend's spare. If it doesn't look the same as yours, it won't fit. I have a 2004 TL with the 6MT and the spare looks like what's shown below. After I posted that picture here some years back, I found from people's responses that the 5AT version has a different-style spare and we determined that the reason is that the 6MT spare has to fit over the Brembos. So if the spare is from the base car, it may well NOT fit over your brakes.

A word to the wise. Do not put tires of different sizes on the front of your car. By sizes I mean diameter. This can potentially damage your LSD.

Or if you're just driving to the shop or something like that one of your fellow AZiner's with a TL-S might be willing to help you out and loan you theirs to get to the shop. I would offer, but I'm not in mine today.

If I were you, I'd bring the two in the back forward like a rotation. Then use the two spares in the back. Hopefully they're the same size.

Why not just pull both wheels & have someone drive you to a tire shop to get them patched?
