Hmmmm, I didn't notice that. Might draw some unwanted attention. Don't get upset if you get a freindly reminder/warning.

Exterior Blue lights and Red lights (on the front) are usually reserved for .

You will get pulled over for having blue exterior lights on your car. I had blue LED's on my license plate for about a year and I got pulled over and got a compliance ticket.

As for the blue LED interior lights, I have them and I love them. So many people complement me when they see it, especially at night. The only thing is that the are terrible for trying to see anything at night! I had an invitation to a party that I was trying to read so I could input the address into the NAVI and I had to pull over at a gas station so I could read it!

I had blue LEDs inside my 03 TL-s. I loved it, but my wife used to say it was like being in "Club Acura"

This time around I changed them to super white LEDs in the 07 and it looks fantastic.

Post some pics when you get a chance.

I had the same problem with my interior light in my old TSX. All blue LED's. But I would use the white vanity lights for reading things....... I had put white LED's there.

You must go in through the trunk. Here's the DIY:

https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/rr-journals-replacing-license-plate-bulbs-3g-garage-g-052-a-566023/

It's simply amazing what you can find in the 3G garage......

When you're pumping this much blue...

White vanity lights aren't needed! However, they do have their uses---girlfriend checking her face, finding something that fell between the seats, etc.

Thanx for the photo, dwb993. Now I know I made the right decision to stay away from the blue lighting. I'm in the same boat as ProvidenceLeaf. Super (cool) whites all round. I'm more for keeping the OEM look but enhancing it to look more high end. The blue accents in the TL are meant to be just that, accents. All that blue belongs in a Honda Civic like others have said, impedes visibility when it's needed.

^^LOL! To each his own. That's why I love AZ---even though you don't like it, you still got something from it. Keep rocking the white, bro! I'm sure it looks great, too!
