I am intrested in smokin out my headlights / taillights for my 2006 acura TL NBP and I have absolutly no experience with cars and I want to do this project bad. If you know of any other options I can do. I live in NORTHWEST INDIANA (munster) somewhat near chicago, IL. If you know of any shops that can do this for me, or if someone else that lives close that can do it please let me know.

I smoked out my headlights with the rockblocker film & it dimmed the light output. At night the headlights looked like regular halogen bulbs, so I removed the film. If you want to protect the lights then get the clear film. Its good quality film made for protection.

 

You could also get the blue or the yellow film. I have the blue film on my lights and I have no issues with dimmed light output

 

Rockblocker is the way to go, you can do it yourself..

 

Some people just vut the tint so the hid is convered by it, only the amber

 

I don't know anything about cars. So far no one has helped me.

 

Dude just read alittle. Search in the DIY area till you feel comfortable. We are not here to hold your hand, we will help you but only if you read and listen. We said rockblocker! Its a sticker.......it doesn't have much to even do with cars......its a sticker. I don't even want to link you to the thread about clearing or blacking your lights cause I scared of what new questions you might conjure up. There are plenty of threads giving suggestion on installing these and they will come with instructions for you to read, starting to see a trend here? If you still don't want to install them yourself, call some local tint places and see if they have experience with any projects like this.
