I think there are some SSM's out there with black roofs. Search for it, I'm sure you'll find photos. I think it will look good, not as good as a WDP IMO, but still good.

Have you ever seen one in person? They are gloss .. not textured and matte like the roofs of the 70's.

yea im talking about the sticker..sorry not being clear enough..no way im going to get those textured roofs like the cars in the 50s..only reason im going with the sticker is cause its cheaper and I can go back SSM roof if I change my mind.

im going with another buddy from here too..maybe we can all go together and work a deal out with them..i'll PM you my msn add..I know FX Auto does it for like 200..but my buddy knows another place..Sinzzle something...they apparantly do it for $150 or something

No I have not. But if it looks like a gloss painted roof, then just paint it gloss black, instead of having to maintain HOT BLACK VINYL on your roof.

I think the gloss black painted roof looks GREAT!

yea painted would look nicer than having vinyl on it, but it probably costs more to get it painted and you can't go back to the normal look if you wanted to.

ill show you some pictures of mine, ones im allowed to wash it and polish it up. I gotta wait a few days to let it set before i do anything to it.

black paintedroof.... & if u want to go back to the original color just paint it again... better than vinyl if u ask me because u dont have to worry about it fading, peeling, or cracking in the long run.

$200 & it done in a day (the paint & dry part) then u come back to get it buffed out if u really want that shine or do it urself
