Black Splash Guards / Mud Flaps - Painted?
Has anyone gotten the black splash guards and then painted them to match their cars color? the black ones I can get much cheaper, and I would have to pay alot more to get them painted my cars color (Abyss Blue Pearl) since they don't have them as standard stocked items at the dealership (aside from the black plastic ones).
another question is....are the black plastic ones exactly the same as the painted ones? are the painted ones also plastic? (i would assume they are)
i found a place where I can get the factory color matched paint in order to paint the black splashguards so i was thinking i may do that at half the price of trying to get the painted ones from some place

I painted my splash guards the body color (antheracite) and it looks great. I personally like it as it makes the car looks like it has kit on, something different from the a-spec.

Interesting Idea, i wouldn't have painted them my car color (i have a black tl) but maybe a design on them, fiber glass squares type, if you'd like take a pic of the car in a good position to show the mud flaps and one showing entire car (or tail corner of the car) and i'll work up a photoshop for you?
