Bird poop scar on paint

I got my '06 TL this last thrusday and decided to wax it this weekend. While cleaning it, I noticed two things... a scar from bird poop on the paint and a scratch on the trunk. The scratch I'm going to take the car back to the dealer to take a look at. As for the poop scar, what do I need to do to fix it or is it permanent?

damn those bird poop wounds. i used rubbing compound and wax afterwards and could still see it on my hood. but not its not as noticeable after i did that. you might have to repaint or have a detailer look at it.

There's no need to repaint it. Any detailer can cut-wax that right out. If you see swirls afterwards, wash it again and apply a good quality wax (I'd recommend Meguiar's liquid wax myself) and it'll be as good as new.
