I have looked all over and can't find an answer.

Im looking for what Lamps our headlights use. A D2S is for the low beams and 9006 for high beams.

But Looking at the projectors I only see room for one lamp. Is the D2S Bi-Xenon?

And the 9006 used for the Floods? or are there 2 9006 on each side?

 

the info most people find about bulb types used on the tl is from sylvania's website, and they've posted the wrong information. the headlight is a D2S bulb (one bulb serves as both the high and low beam (a small metal flap moves inside the headlight to change between beams))and the daytime running light is a 9006. that's how it is on my tl-s atleast. if you don't have DRL's then the fog lamp next to the headlight will be a 9006 as well. hope this helps.

 

If I'm not mistaken all the 3g TL's are bixenon.

I believe the 9006 is for the foglight. the tl comes with bi-xenon
