zaino that ish! up close and personal, every car will get those swirls and fine scratches eventually, but with the zaino treatment...it minimizes that ALOT!

It's best if when you wash it to only wash from the front to back and don't use a circular motion. Same with waxing. you can use a buffer but you super light pads and compound and I apply a paste wax by hand in lines.

As above, a good quality wax like zaino or NXT will help minimize said lines. Buy a brand new wash mitt for your car and make sure it never ever touches the ground.

Yah, straight line running front to back on the car, not side to side.

Honestly I just not that anal about it and just Make sure my mitts and rags, etc are clean.

Thumbs up Zaino Products

I've had my black '04 TL for over two years, and I've had great experiences with Zaino carwash ("soap") and Zaino sealant. I'm very happy with these products, and I have very few clearcoat scratches.

Regardless of what you choose, try to limit any circular motions during the wash. Instead, use front-to-back motions on the hood, trunk, and the top of the car. Use up-and-down motions on the sides.

By the way, I use clean, 100% cotton towels to wash/dry the car. This is another factor in keeping surface scratches to a minimum.
