I got quotes nearly a month ago on 3G TL Auto/Navi's from 2 dealers (Mac Churchill in Ft Worth and Vandergriff in Arlington) for the same amount, $33,320 ($1200 over invoice, including $545 destination charge). I got these quotes assuming that my BMW 525i would sell quickly...finally..., a month later I finally got it sold....I will be needing a car now and quick--as in next week since the Bimmer is going bye bye... Anyone recently (in the last month) got a better deal at these or any other dealer in the DFW area? Since we're now in August and the "buzz" is starting (and folks are beginning to place orders) for the '05's I was just curious if prices in the DFW area are starting to drift closer to invoice ($32,120) than the $1200 over I was quoted. I have been assured by both dealers that the quotes still stand but I'd like to negotiate down even further if I have knowledge of others getting better deals than this--within the last month and..if possible...could you PM me (can we mention salesmen's names in our reply messages) with who you dealt with?

I noticed you were in OKC. I just got my TL 5AT w/ NAVI last week at Bob Howard in OKC. Got it for $33,215. So it's a few buck cheaper than your price. You may want to try Goodard Acura as well. I think they are in Plano.

I picked up my Anthracite/Navi/5AT from David McDavid in Plano on June 29. I paid $1500 over invoice including destination, window tint and splash guards.

My situation was a bit different because I had a trade-in. McDavid seemed much more willing to give me more for my trade than to come off the TL price anymore than that. But overall, I think I got a good deal...not great, but good.

I'd be glad to give you my sales rep's name. He was excellent and clearly lacking the stereotypical sleaze. Just PM me if you'd like his contact info.

Both David McDavid and Vandergriff have offered me $1200 over invoice but they do not have the color I am looking for. Mac Churchill does have the color I want but they will not work with me on price even though I originally looked at the car there. It is very dissappointing that they are unwilling to match their competitors prices!

The sales staff at Mac Churchill was helpful but they are simply not competitive. I do not recommend Churchill unless you are willing to overpay.

I will provide an update as things unfold.

Bob was a very nice guy but they did not have an Antracite with Nav. If they have your color in stock they will work with you.

I also Highly recommend Will, from David McDavid in Austin! He was very helpful and willing to go the extra mile for our business. Mac Churchill proved themeselves to be difficult and uncompetitive. They are very proud of their cars and simply can't match the other dealers prices. Its too bad these decisions come down to price.

Don't waste your time in Houston- Gilman and John Eagle both stood firm at 34,000 + TTL.

We ended up buying the car from Vandergriff in Arlington for $1200 over invoice + TTL. I dealt with Marty who was extremely helpful and accomodating. He made the whole process easy and enjoyable. Be sure to give him a call too.
