I test drove the 07 G35 Sedan and 07 G35 Coupe. The coupe felt very sluggish to me. The sedan was quick but I still think I prefer my Acura TL. It felt the same quickness wise.

Am I crazy??

I have an 04 Tl 6 MT. I have an AEM CAI, custom catback exhaust. I feel like my car pulled a lot better def more than the coupe. The Sedan was very close but it was hard to tell because of RWD.

I think i am gonna keep the TL. Maybe do a RON JON kit and some new rims and some new performance parts. I am glad to say I am still happy with my TL after three and a half years!

Sorry thought I would share...any opinions?

Your modded '04 TL 6MT will eat the G35 Coupe alive. It'll eat it for breakfast.

And I bet your TL has better ride handling than the 07' G35 sedan. Take it to the track and the number will speak for itself.

Good that you'll stick with the TL but you should close the lease and buy or lease another TL, a brand new one, the '07 TL-S 6MT.

Yes I am gonna look for the TL-S but I am having trouble finding it in a 6 speed.

that's because the Acura dealers are so ghey... they think the AT is the king of everything..... which is not. (i know.... i know... AT is what most people want because they are lazy use a stick....)



well, keep looking.... if they don't have it, ask the dealer to find it. Demand them "I want a 6MT, no exceptions...".

Yea I am gonna wait a year or two for something better to come out. I figured I would purchase the 04 TL since I have done a lot of work to it and drop it on some H&R's and put some new 18's on it. Maybe add the front aspec bumper to make it look "newer" to me.

Smart move. Wait and get something in a couple of years. I have an 05 TL. I'm gonna wait for the new gen before thinking of trading in. And it probably will be the 2nd year into the new Gen for the bugs to be worked out.
