Click on the picture so it's bigger, then right click and click "copy Image location". Then simply click on the picture of the mountain/sun button when you post and simply right click and paste in the box that pops up!

If it wasn't a type s I would have debadged fully as well. I used an interior panel tool (plastic) and a paper towel with lighter fluid. LOL I am old school. Just make sure towel stays wet to not scratch and wash it with mild soap and water when done. I still have very small amount of glue outline traces but a small wax job should take care of those. Been too hot during day. 102 usually.

I used dental floss,,after car sat in hot sun all day,, then a degreaser and paper towel in circles and back and forth to kinda ball up backing residue ,, let towel run dry ,, not going to hurt paint,,then I used a fine cut swirl remover just by hand was enough to clean up surface ,, this 2004 has 96k miles and it cleaned up nicely no tell tales left

I think it looks really good but so cause it still has that TypeS badge. I think with just the center logo it looks to plain. I thought about doing it also but if dont like it how am i gonna put it back on The thing also which leads me to do it maybe is because now that i see with the type s badge, although i dont have a type s but i do have the a-spec in the right corner. Maybe if i leave that and the center logo then it might look good too. Im gonna think about it

hmm. I understand debadging if you have something like a different looking civic or something, but why in the world would you want to hide the fact that you have a TL ?
Its not like it doesnt look like a TL or anything as a billion of them were sold. Whats the motivation to debadge ?

Personally I like the cleaner debadged look. I left my Type-S badge on as well, though I repositioned/centered it. It is now centered between where the TL and Type-S badges were.

I thought about re S badging in lower right hand corner of trunk. like straight down below where it is now but didn't want to mess with it.
Most people only know acura due to A I am not hiding the fact of a TL I just don't like all the BS on the back of my car. Takes away from a sexy a**.
Kinda like a girl wearing shorts with woo-ha on the back. Just takes away from looking at a nice a**.
I like the de-badged look and have not once 2nd guessed myself for doing it.

Also by debadging makes the ass look bigger or better said wider and more aggressive looking, on the other hand to me also it might look a little cheap. Civic kinda thing as mentioned before....

If like a billion TL's have been sold and it looks like a TL ,, then everyone knows what it is,, even WITHOUT badges ,, BUT it ultimately has a cleaner less cluttered look without the badges,, so there lies the case for debadging,,, plus its easier to wax the trunk

Yeah i used a hair dryer, dental floss. then when i got the emblem off i went out and bought goo gone. and got all the residue off. the shitty part is, still a outline were the glue was, i think it messed up the paint, because i took a razor blade at it and its not coming off so. 150 on a black 04. 130k mile were all in Arizona so.
I dont think you messed up the paint.
Wash area, claybar, polish then buff. You should be fine

hopefully you got er fixed up,, if not maybe need wet n dry sandpaper if marks in clear are too deep,, or may need to get clear redone,, or if you cut the paint with blade,, maybe blend and reclear
