Okay it wasn't really an M5. It was some 5-series Bimmer (previous gen) with an M5 badge and bodykit (who are they trying to fool really?). It had a deep growly exhaust so I know it wasn't stock. We were both on the highway this morning and I could see from the way he was driving that he was just itching to take off. Finally saw an open stretch of road for the both of us; him in one lane, me in the other. I switched it to SS (it's an AT 07 TL-S), and down shifted to 3rd and went WOT. I was already doing about 55 when I shifted so the TL took off. Shifted to 4th at about 85. I heard him (never saw him) take off as well. We took it up to about 120. I gained only 1 car length on him but then had to slow down since my exit was coming. I looked over to give him a thumbs up, but he didn't want to look my way and as soon as I slowed down because of my exit, he cut me off and floored it again in front of me.

you could've pulled on him more if you went down to 2nd gear at 55mph but nonetheless nice kill!

haha yeah i was thinkin that too, my 2nd gear will catch at 55 no problems, then 77 to go into third and then 126 to go to 4th haha

As long as you don't do it all the time, then it's ok. You know, once or twice a day is fine. I mean I do that once a while lol. The only bad thing is you are wasting gas money....:P

Damn 126 at the top of third, I've seen it to 110 and it hits the limiter, on the UA6, that's crazy.
