Bay Speed Corp - Carbon Fiber
Anyone know of a company called "Bay Speed Corp" located on 313 E89th Street in Brooklyn?
They contacted me on CarDomain.com asking me if they can borrow parts from my car in order to make Carbon Fiber replacements.
I have an appointment to go in and speak with them a week from today and discuss some possible parts for them to produce, and to leave with them some parts that I can get by without for them to start workign on at first. What are some parts that people are looking for in CF?
I personally wanted a CF engine cover and all the covers in the engine bay in CF. I'd have to leave those there with them for about 4-6 weeks, which is A-OK with me and plan on starting with that at first.
Anyone else have anything that I can suggest with them? They sent me some photos of some of their past work, mostly CF bumper, hood, fenders, mirrors, trunk lid and spoiler on an RSX.
EDIT: Here's their website http://www.bodykitwholesale.com/

funny to stumble onto this post.
the engine bay covers would be incredible, esp the valve cover. it's amazing the way it looks. i just looked at my friends Si today actually and he had CF shields, it looks beautiful. it gives that black stock look, but in a completely better and improved next level kind of feel/look.
i'm all for one with that CF engine bay covers-- DO IT! and hit me up with an invoice after ^^
btw you get some of the cut too right, afterall you're supplying them parts!

Life Long Acura Fiend
Gas Door, Engine Bay, Spoilers, Grill, Fenders, Interior trim that is not CF already, like the metal pieces around the dash. Wait they have to keep the original parts? You cant drive around without half the things i listed

But I'd have to leave it there for 4-6 weeks...that wouldn't really work out ![Tomato](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/tomato.gif)
I wish! Actually, that RSX they have that I saw, all it needs is CF doors, roof and rear quarter panels and it's an entire CF body.
I can drive around without a gas door and engine bay covers.
That would be awesome.
I never thought of this. Definatly a good idea!
This would be great too, to go with the CF engine bay.
I'm pretty sure taht the CF engine bay will be the first thing to get done. At least the engine cover.

A good looking front and rear lip / diffuser in CF would be sick. It would be sweet if they could make a CF insert that goes on the rear bumper for the Type S where you have that black plastic mesh look. Even a CF Aspec kit would be kind of cool
