Looking to buy a TL very soon, looking for the most reliable and friendly dealer. Where did everyone get their TLs so far in the bay area? Experiences?

Michael Andrews at Hopkins Acura in Redwood City. Everything went fine, and he arranged a trade that got me the car a couple weeks earlier than originaly planned.

Interesting. I'm also working with Michael Andrews at Hopkins Acura. I found Andrews knowledgable and low-key. The test drive was long enough over a variety of types of roads that I felt I got a decent idea how it handled and road over typical conditions I encounter.

I put down my deposit about 3 1/2 weeks ago and the car is due about 11/10. I'll let you know once I actually have completed the sale and have the car whether I recommend them or not. But so far, so good, other than the bad misfortune of not being able to find a car that I like that they could get from another dealer. I suspect I'll pay full MSRP or close to it. But at least they aren't asking over MSRP or adding protection packages to it.

I bought a previous car, an Integra, from Hopkins, and all went well. I had no complaints about the service department. Unlike a previous Nissan service department, Hopkins didn't try to rip me off. I distrust all auto dealers and auto service departments and have been ripped off a couple times in the past by both sales and service. But the fact that my previous Integra experience with Hopkins was good was one of the main reasons I decided to buy the 04 TL.
