Battery terminal question/help

A few days go my navi screen defaulted to tge radio code as if the battery got disconnected, great. Didnt think about hecking anything which was dumb and went on my way. So I get home yesterday after about a 3hr drive and shut off my car. I'm walking away hitting the lock button and I hear no beep... Wtf..... Pop the hood and my positive connection on the battery was covered in that green chalk from corrosion. Cleaned it off then try to pop Off the terminal to clean it better. Too much corrosion caused it to snap without any pressure applied. Terrible so since I had to be at a wedding rehearsal I left it and have to use the wife's G to get around for the day. I'm getting into town and have about a 3hr window to get this fixed before the wedding tonight. In the past I have takin it to pepboys and they fix terminals for 50-60 but take a few hours to do it. Have any of y'all done a switch before and did you find it easier to replace the whole wire or just the adapter which would mean splicing wires and what not. I've looked on YouTube for a how to which was informative but just thought I would reach out and see if y'all have any suggestions or advice.

if quick fix then splice and adapter.. if you got time then do the Big 3 and replace with 1/0 cables and the adapter

happened to me just last december. its safer to just replace the whole cable. splicing could potentially cause problems down the road.

Either way, it's fixable. And both routes are relatively easy fixes.

These threads may help. If you have more questions, post in one of the other threads.
