Base TL 6MT vs Type-S 5AT

I was wondering if anyone has solid numbers on what car is faster, base 6MT vs Type-s 5AT? If my 5at type-s is slower than the base 6mt im gonna be a little pissed off lol even tho I didn't buy my car for speed.

prepare to be pissed off. a 6mt is quicker (given that the driver knows what they're doing)...sorry.

idk, i don't have any numbers on this, just what i've heard. find yourself a 6mt and go toe to toe with him and see hoo wins.

both put down about the same WHEEL horsepower.
about 230 to the front wheels.
your car is heavier, and the auto trans doesnt put down the power as well as a MT.

And also make sure if you ever want to play with another Type S thinking it should be a even race just hope he doesnt have a 6mt. I have been told the 6mt Type S puts down a good 30 to 40 whp more than the 5at Type S. I dont have any facts to back this up just simply what I was told. Coming from someone who has owned both a 5at Type S and now a 6mt Type S I can see that being very possible! From what guys on here say the Honda automatics absolutely rob the car of a LOT of power.
