My "balloon" is up in a few months and I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience with turning in their TL at the end of the balloon. Did you get anywhere near what was promised toward a new Acura/Honda product?

I need to look at my financing paperwork, but my recollection is that a certain "guaranteed buyback" is worked into the deal representing the owner's equity in the vehicle, less charges, when it is turned in. It is really a fiction because that amount can only be utilized toward the purchase/lease of a honda product, and is not a real cash amount payable when the car is turned in. The "balloon" debt is forgiven by the car being turned in.
