badly scratched wheel on '04 - 5AT
The parking garage where I park my car damaged my front right wheel.
It's been scraped on the lip of the wheel really badly.
Anybody know offhand how much a new one might set me back?
Wonder if I have to go to my dealer or is there someplace else I can buy one? Bummer.

Don't replace...repair. There are some listings on ebay if you really want to replace the wheel. Otherwise, a refinishing should set you back about $75. I know someone on this site has had it done, hopefully they will speak up. You may want to search under wheel repair and see if anything comes up.

Please check Spud's thread. He ever did repair it, it looked like the brand new one.

I used this company before to fix two badly out of round Lexus rims, and they did great work. I understand they can also weld gouges, chips, cracks, etc. and refinish (within reason), and they also sometimes have replacment rims from dealers that use them. I saved a lot of money, so it might be worth looking into. I know I'll never call another dealer for rim prices before I check with WCC.
Good luck.
