Bad transmission, dented rear passenger fender, 155k miles: what can I get if I sell

Hi all,

I have an 04 TL with some issues as described in the title.

This is the second time the transmission goes out and I have decided to just sell it.
.
The engine works great. What can I expect to get if I sell it ss is?

Will it just be salvage value? Thanks!

Given it will cost as much, if not more more than the car is worth in good shape to fix the fender and replace the transmission, I rather doubt you'd get even $500 for the car.

Now, if you want to turn the wrenches yourself on the transmission and buy a good condition Accord V6 transmission from 2006 or 2007, then the car may well be worth fixing.

You'd be lucky to get over a grand. List it on craigslist as a mechanic's special.

Thanks for your replies!

I have a newborn and am working full time so fixing it myself isn't an option right now. I also don't have a place to store it.

I called a few wreckers and they're bit offering much at all. I'll list it on Craigslist as you guys suggested and see what happens. Thank you all for your help.
