bad news/good news
Bad News......... My TL is 2 weeks old. Rock hit the windshield 2 days ago and put a 10" crack in it. So I take it to Acura and they tell me it will be $560. I'm bummed but I make an appointment to have it done the next day (today).
Good News...... I bring it in this morning and the service guy tells me Acura will extend a 1 time "good will" and not charge me. Weir Canyon Acura is amazing.

You are lucky, for Christmas someone gave me a set of all weather floor mats, only they were for a TSX.
My dealership wouldn't even swap them for the TL's even though they are the same price & the dealership where they were purchased was over 2hrs away.
It's nice to see that at least one dealership realizes that a little customer service goes a long way. Since that was the first time I had been back to my dealership for anything, it left a really bad taste in my mouth. I don't think this would have been a problem at the Lexus dealership.
Needless to say, I haven't been back for anything since!!

Another reason I am glad I live in Florida, which has a zero deductible on windshield repair/replacement. I know I am paying a little extra for this coverage because the insurance company is not doing it out of the goodness of their heart, but being prorated among all users it couldn't be costing me that much.

If I get a rock on SR91, I know where I'm taking my Acura. With all the new construction and gravel trucks, rocks are way common on SR91 and I15. I was on my 4th windshield on my previous commute car when I pitched it...and that was only over 2 years.
