B2 service
I have about 28,600 miles on my '04 ABP TL, and the B2 service is due soon it says. I called to get an appointment at Sterling Acura in Austin, and the service is like $450!! Plus, my brakes are warped--I think at least (symptom: when I'm going down a hill, and I brake, my entire car vibrates), and my rear tires are almost bald. So I'm going to be spending a lot of money this week. Anyone else have to deal with these issues?

Everyone has dealt or will deal with the same issues...
Your quote is sort of pricey for an oil change, tire rotation and change of cabin and engine air filters. $280 or more is too high, and that's allowing $200 for the filter changes, which may take an hour and a half of labor (primarily on the glovebox removal and reinstall for the cabin air filter). I have seen dealer quotes between $260 and $360 or so for the B2 service. Try going to an independent Acura/Honda specialist rather than the dealer for this, or get a quote from another dealership.
Some of your brake rotors may need to be turned/machined (as opposed to replaced, hopefully, but the rotor thickness will have to be measured to determine if they can be machined or must be replaced). If the brake rotor(s) is/are seriously warped, it can be either a wear item or a warranty item, depending on various factors.

As I did with the exorbitant services on my VW I'll DIY on the filter changes .. tire rotation .. one of my $380 services cost me $110 at the dealer and the cabin / air filter = $35

Cabin Air Filter replacement should not take more then 20 minutes at the dealership. I did mine for the first time ever this past April, and this is the time it took me and I do not do this for a living.
Add another 20 minutes top for the engine air filter if you want to really overdo it (Clean the air filter housing, apply some anti-seize on the air filter screws for the cover).
Best regards

I agree with the other posters who suggest DIY on the filters. I'm by no means a mechanic and I did the cabin and air filters last weekend in about an hour total. I also do my own oil changes in about half an hour.
