B1 service

Hey guys,

I just bought my 2007 base TL, it's the charcoal color. Well I got it with 55k miles for 16.4k and when I got the car it had 30% oil life, now it's at 10% with the b1 service. My question is do I need the tire rotation? It has brand new tires and I've only had it 2 weeks. Thanks

Depends on how many miles are on the tires since installation. If they were put on right before you bought the car, no. If you have more than 3K miles on them, then I'd probably rotate them now.

Wow

They are brand new and they definitely have not been driven more than 3k.

Then wait. It is up to you. I average 650 miles per 10% oil life.

Rote them every 3K, don't wait to long like i did, i went 5k and now my tires make a woo woo woo woo sound after 50mph.

When was the last time you had your alignment checked? Sounds like a possible feathering issue, most likely due to rear toe being out of spec. 3G TLs are somewhat notorious for rear toe issues feathering the rear tires...

I rotate my tires every oil change, which turns out to be about 7500 miles and have no issues. But I also keep a close eye on rear alignment..

A month ago, alignment and rotation.

Find out when the oil was changed...if it was changed recently then just reset the oil life indicator...get to that screen on the MID and push and hold the Sel/Reset until it goes back to 100%. As for the tires, if they are new on the car than don't rotate them. Just do it every 3-5K miles.
