B service: rip-off or good deal?
2004 TL, 43K mi: Went to dealer for scheduled B service. All OK. Then they 'suggested' a complete brake system flush ($150), and an engine 'induction' (?) to clean out any carbon build-up ($135). I declined both. Good things to do, or rip-off??

I know seafoam is suppose to be used in the vaccum line, but do you have a pic of the line? I want to Seafoam the car, but I am scared to mess something up

What I know is that if your car is three yrs old you should get your brake fluids flushed. I'm scheduled to have this done this Saturday. I'll have a mechanic friend do it for me. It's cheaper.

There's no reason to do an induction flush or seafoam unless you are having some intake problem.
