Hey guys have a quick question regarding Service B..

• B - replace the engine oil and the oil filter, rotate the tires, inspect the front and rear brakes, check the parking brake adjustment, and inspect several other items listed in the owners manual.

Last service was the A1... The service that just came up today was service due soon B... Now my question the only thing that needs to be replaced is engine oil and the oil filter. And the rest are all visual inspections minus the tire rotation.

Self explanatory I know but a confirmation on this would be great. Thanks guys appreciate it.

Also all the 3rd gen TL services are as followed as we all need to know this if you don't already:

LETTERS
• A - replace just the engine oil.

• B - replace the engine oil and the oil filter, rotate the tires, inspect the front and rear brakes, check the parking brake adjustment, and inspect several other items listed in the owners manual.

NUMBERS
• 1 - rotate the tires.

• 2 - replace the air filter, check the drive belt, and replace the cabin filter.

• 3 - replace the transmission fluid and transfer fluid. ( if equipped )

• 4 - replace the spark plugs, replace the timing belt ( if equipped ), inspect the water pump, and inspect valve clearance.

• 5 - replace the engine coolant.

• 6 - replace the rear differential unit. ( if equipped )

 

Yep its just an oil change and tire rotation. You can do this service yourself or just ask for a regular oil change and tire rotation instead of the b service.
