there has been numerous threads about service prices. also, the price differs from dealer to dealer. if it's just B, in so. cali. downey acura charge me around $80 for it. but if it has a number after it, then it's higher. i had a B2 service before and the same dealer charged me about $250 for it. ask around other dealers or don't take it to the dealer coz they'll rape you in charges

Use the search option and you will find tons of thread of what other people have been quoted.

The price you got quoted is OUTRAGEOUS!!! B service is basically Oil Change and Tire Rotation and then check this check that ....

I would not pay more then $50 for that service...

Dealer service is expensive - no doubt. The one time I got a loaner, I had to bring it back full.

I've given up on service names/designations.

Ask them exactly what is being done, and then figure out a price yourself.

If it's an oil change and tire rotation, shouldn't cost more than $70.

I got quoted $80 for my B service last week, but opted to only get the oil change for $30. $50 is a waste for them to 'inspect' on things that will most certainly still be in good condition.

Hey B rad
Where you getting the quote from. I went to Rick Case Acura and they quoted me $205. $69 for the alignment if needed. After she was done talking I told her I bought the car there and if there were any discounts. She gave me a 10% discount and another 10% for that rewards membership thingy.

Went to go pay and they almost charged me $300!!! Luckily, she gave me a copy of their B service list which is actually their 15,000 mile maintenance. I showed it to them and it had the price of $205 on there. I also mentioned the 10% discount. The service agent left already and they wouldn't honor the other 10% which bothered me a little bit. Looks like they charged me for the alignment to. I ended up paying $180 for everything.

After reviewing the list it's all inspections. Just changing the damn engine oil, filter and rotating the tires. I could have went to my bro- in- law for that. Why is it that we feel better going to the dealer to get this done?
