I hate cars

Just trying to get an average mileage before the mileage gets to 0%. I have Amsoil fully synthetic and was going to take it out to 10K this time but I forgot to write down the starting mileage. Just looking for a rough estimate and I know it varies by driving conditions.

I agree, based on my current mileage, I would continuously do the math (for example, if I was at 50% at 3,000 then I would know 0% would be at 6,000. Or, if 75% was 1,200 then 0% would be 4,800). I've seemed to determine that based on my driving conditions I'll end up right around 6k miles when it's ready.

Although, not to open a can of worms here, I'm still stuck on the "every 3 months or 3,000 miles". Although, since cars are supposed to go longer now a days, I go with whichever comes last.

I drive pretty "regular," and I'm at 30% remaining with about 4700 miles since the last change. Just about all 6-10 mile trip city/suburban driving.

Thanks a lot. I do 95% freeway miles so I should be safe taking it to "0" and then back down to 80% or so.

I too have a hard time going more than 4K on an oil change. This time around I have the good Amsoil and a huge Amsoil filter so I'm forcing myself to go the entire 10K with an oil and filter that's rated for 25K. I've been known to do 3K synthetic oil changes in the past lol.
