Here's a few threads on the topic:

Here's mine:

'07 AT TL-S

$35,650 Selling Price
56% Residual
36 months, 12,0000 miles per year
$2,536 Out of Pocket
Payment = $427 per month including tax.

With only 1st payment at signing the Payment would have been $485 including tax.

Nice deal... I was kind of hesitant w/ leasing because of my driving habits. I already have 4k on my Tl and I picked it up 9/04/07.

^^^

They can write leases for up to 100,000 miles over 5 years (granted your costs are going to soar if you ask for 20k miles a year). But, it sounds like you're at that average, considering you're averaging 2k miles per month right now, or 24k a year? Or did you just make a long trip between Sept and now?

You should be (hesitant, that is). Over mileage is the number 1 way people get "screwed" on a lease.

You either got the deal of the century or something's missing.

$510 x 60 = $30,600

According to Edmunds, invoice on an '07 is $33,137. The total you post is LESS than invoice even AFTER financing?

As a matter of fact, IIRC, your financed $30,600 is LESS than our '02 TL-S was.

I don't get it.

07 base, no navi, 386/month 1500 "down" for TTL. 10k miles; got this around Jan '07

The cost for 12k/year was more than the cost of me actually paying overage on a 10k limit.

I gotta learn to be a better haggler or something. I bought an 04 auto NAV in sept 2006 for I believe 32000 (+ warranty).

I pay $555/month for 72 months. (dang 7.99% APR from Honda - credit union wouldn't give me the loan on my own, and I was engaged at the time, not married so no go on her $$)

Buy low, sell high... Made me a lot of money over the years... See below.

FWIW - I've had one car lease, back in 1996 I took one out on a two door Camry for my wife... It worked out OK, she didn't drive much and it did buy more car than normally afforded under a purchase... But I was always peaved that I had to run around and find replacement tires at the last minute and when it was turned over, I got like $200. Never again, when you buy the car, ya it's cost $150+ more a month. But so what that's like $1800 in the grand scheme of a year and by the time the car is ready to go, there's always a few g's in my pocket if not more.

Yup, I got a 2006 ASM-navi for a bit less than 30k on the exact same day... I had a trade (07 camry) so I wasn't screwed on taxes too bad but all said and done just a bit over $30k OTD - $0 down cause the Camry wasn't worth the TL.

Funny thing, I just walking in to use the bathroom while looking to see what was on the lot... I thought for sure I'd hear the same $35k BS I heard in September when I bought the Camry... Nope, loaded no miles, today only and a guy is checking with his better half right now... I got a good deal, plus I have this mystery carbon fiber steering wheel that I guess wasn't stock OE.
