I think your friend is the one whos " san fransiscan"...that color is the "Straightest" color out there.

Why do people think WDP is "San Fransiscan" something I never understood... WDP is the best color I think people are JELOUS! Of course I love all the colors especially black too!

Kinda same thing with me. I got an auto because of my wife's inability to drive a standard. I always regretted it.

I traded mine in with 10K miles on an identical car with the 6MT. It cost me about $3K on bottom line, but my lease payment actually went down $.02/month. Every little bit helps, right?

Just depends how much it bothers you, and how much it's worth to you. I don't regret my decision at all. Of course, both cars are Anthracite (my favorite color), and I've never even been to San Fransisco...

9k miles later i wish i would have bought the one WITH Nav

i looked into it and they were going to give me pretty much what i owed (i leased it) and with $1000 down my payment would have gone up $50 month.....

OK, I did it... I bought an 05 DGP non nav 5MT new.. had it for six months and traded it for a 05 DGP Nav 6MT 2 months ago. The dealership gave me 29,000 for the trade without even looking at the car. I only owed 25 so it was all good. Monthly payments increased by 6 dollars. Same miles and more extras on the new ones (side body moldings, a-spec springs, winter mats) Its doable if you want and if you do your research. I bought mine online from PA. No problems at all. You can do it.


Ill tell you that the difference in having what I want and having what I had is enormous. Seriously, its worth it....

Ive been there, and i never saw a WDP TL..... id fear my cars life in San Fran..... i didnt know you guys were such violent paralell parkers and squeeze and rub against other cars!!!

'06 WDP w/ebony is very hard to find according to my local dealers. I can understand why, it's a hella nice looking combo.

I had an 04 Silver TL w/ nav "lease" and which I think the second best color to me and traded it off for an 05 WDP with Navi "Finance".. The trade value of the '04 is 29000 and I still owe 31000 = 2000 upside down.... They sold me the 05 TL for 33100 = TTL.... Sorry, i had to tell you my story (LOL)... I think the best thing to do is shop around and maybe some dealer car give you a trade value close to how much you still owe and everybody's ryt WDP attracts more attention than the other TL colors... Good luck man!!

ML, I had a similar situation. I originally wanted the White with Parchment and my wife wanted the AM with Ebony. Guess which one we got? I think the WPC has the best exterior, but the ebony is the best interior. I do feel the Parchment is a little busy with the black, wood grain, and the brushed aluminum. The ebony looks terrific with the black fiber carbon. Now for the kicker.....I live in florida and hope the seats don't get too hot in summer. You've got a very nice looking car. Enjoy it!
