Anyone use royal purple radiator additive?
I tried to find some info on here as well as on google for the royal purle radiator additive but nothing to be found. I am wondering how this works ( add to oem rad fluid?), and what benefits may be gained?

Don't know but the OEM fluid is a no silicate low phosphorus fluid and the water pump will quickly suffer if a normal silicate fluid is used.
What I've found form racing is that distilled water with a bare minimum amount of coolant for water pump lube and corrosion protection works best. Plain water will transfer heat better than coolant. As long as you're above freezing, use the least amount of coolant that the water pump will survive with. You may have to use a radiator cap that has a slightly higher pressure to make up the difference in boiling point.
If the RP coolant additive will allow you to run straight water while providing lube and corrosion protection as well as being low to non silcate, by all means use it.
In the race car, I run Redline Water Wetter and straight distilled water. Not sure if the TL would accept this or not.
