I would've gotten the 6MT had RWD or AWD been available. 6MT and FWD combined I don't like. This car needs SH-AWD and soon. I will then trade up and get the 6MT. As long as it's FWD, there's no point IMO.

HAHA yep! I love my manual. Its the first manual I have owned and I have driven a lot of my friends cars and I love the response and overall control I get with driving a manual. I know the sport-shift for the AT is nice, and you have the option to go fully auto, but its just not the same. Good times with the MT

Have had the 6MT for seven months and love it. You get this thing on a nice curvy road with no traffic and its close to sex. This car (and transmission) work so well its a joy. You guys with the automatics are really missing something.

As far as traffic jams, I don't even think about it anymore. The left foot and right hand do everything without me really thinking about it. I have to cross the Woodrow Wilson Bridge every day. What a POS that is. Yet I wouldn't give up my manual for anything. Makes this car so much fun to drive.

Getting into religion...

It it wrong that I am almost 20, male, and cannot drive a manual? I test drove both versions and just could not keep the MT under control! Not road control, just transmission....I squealed the tires shifting from 2-3. The handling felt a little tighter, and it felt just barely faster. If I could drive a manual, I probably would've gotten one.

Probably good that I got the 5AT because I don't know if I could have EVER driven the MT that smooth....

you are not a complete man unless you can drive a manual tranny. all "real" men drive manuals. j/k it takes a little getting use to but you will get the hang of it. its just like anything you do in life enough practice and it becomes second nature.

I got my 6mt yesterday (Finally!) and I would say I wouldn't consider anything else EVEN THOUGH: I suck at it. I feel like a n00b to stick again. I'm just not used to some of this assisting that the car is trying to do. I read on here though that when it works "it's like sex" , and yes... I have to agree. I was so happy to be driving around and occassionally shift correctly so I didn't attempt to launch myself through the window.

6mt.... no regrets!
