I'm looking for a turn signal side mirror that I can tinker around with. Unfortunately, TLs are scarce here and I can't find a local yard with any 3Gs. Cant see myself paying retail for something I intend to dismantle out the box. If anyone is going soon and can give me a price, I'd appreciate it.

your local auto dismantling shop should be on the national hotline- they make a request for a part and wherever someone has it-they ship!

That's the thing. I can find one online for a little over one hundred bux, functioning. I don't need it to work. I want to pay 20 - 40 bux for one hanging off the car, wires frayed, no way possible it'll ever work again. It doesn't even have the mirror glass in it. All I want is the LED turn signal portion so I can see how they are wired, instead of messing around with my own.

tell the salvage yard exactly what you want- they will have a broken one somewhere in the usa--tell them you want it with broken glass~

talk to your dealership and insurance and ask them where they send all Acuras to get fixed and talk to the body shop manager and tell him hey ill give you 20-40 bux for a beat up stock mirror. Tell him its for a science project

you can try and visit your local dealer find someone cool in the parts dept. tell them excatly what you told us you want a old mirror chances are they got them in a warrenty pile somewhere in the parts dept. the actuators go bad alot so some people replace the whole mirror some do just actuators give it a shot ill check here in my parts dept now

no luck my friend, just a 05 and up rl and a 07 up mdx side mirrors. thats it ill keep an eye out for ya

those could prolly work, im sure acura doesnt differentiate the led wiring that much. Just design shape...
