Can G35's play too? I heard on the news this morning, that the Oregon State police, just issued the highest speeding ticket ever, yesterday. Apparently, they clocked some guy going 148 on the freeway or something like that :ugh: I'd hate to be that guy :tomato:

Does the cruise control work on the TL, when you are going >90? Just curious, the G35 won't let you set a speed higher than 89mph...

Our TL isn't broken in yet, so I dare not take it to the track

The highest speeding ticket ever was issued in Belgium. The BBC reported that the Belgian cops clocked a Mini Cooper at Mach 3 and revoked the guy's license on the spot.

Obviously an erroneous reading and they eventually reversed the ticket. (Consider that the fastest commercial aircraft in regular service was Concorde, which flew at Mach 2 and got you from London to New York in three and a half hours.)

I about fainted one night when a younger man I know stopped by the house to chat about his fairly new Yamaha R1 (I believe that is what it is...). It was late/dark and he was asking if I would help him install NOS... When I asked "what the hell for?" he replyed he had "just finished" a top speed run across the bridge and it would "only" do 186!!! To make a long story short I am amazed he is still alive today,, over a year later... And yes, he now runs a 60hp NOS system.... 200+ was his goal....:ugh:

What are motorcycle tires speed rated to? I'd hate to lose a tire while doing 186....
