Anyone know PN for this please? Coolant leak between engine and firewall
Hello,
Like to ask for help please in troubleshooting coolant leak.
Situation = noticed small pool of coolant on drive-way, car drives fine with no overheating.
Problem = looks like leak is coming from a device behind engine block towards back of the vehicle, between engine block and firewall. I attached pictures for location. Also looking at surrounding area below, looks like the leak might have been there for some time, definitely not overnight failure.
Request for help = would someone please help identify what that part is, functionality, and possibly a part name/number? Trying to gauge if this is something I can tackle for repair.
Appreciate the help in advance!

Burning Brakes
That is the heater control valve, it's closed when the engine is cold to prevent cold air from blowing into the cabin, then it opens up once the engine warms up for the coolant to flow to the heater core to give out heated air in the cabin. You should get it fixed or replaced before winter comes.
