Remove the silver trim piece just above the glove box? Does that come off?

Hey, all you have to do is start prying it from the door edge and keep prying working your way toward the center of the car.

Do not pry the door edge and use your fingers to pry/pull the rest off. The trim is metal and will bend. Place a butter knife or plastic tool and use it every few cm.

It's just clips, but what I meant was that you don't want to rip it off the rest of the way once you have it started.
Place a butter knife under, pry. Then place the butter knife over closer to the center, pry. Repeat.
Some people pry the trim under the vent to get it started and rip it off the rest of the way, which bends the metal.

Silver trim on doors comes off, you have to remove the door panels and remove a bunch of screws to remove it.
I don't remember if the silver trim can be removed from the door handle/carbon fiber (or wood grain) trim. Removing the whole assembly makes it easier to wrap, though.

Trim tools are dirt cheap on Amazon. If you can wait a couple days I'd get one. For around 10$ you get about 5 tools, different shapes and thickness. They'll come in handy for any interior trim work.
